EARTH DAY NEWS: AT&T Park, the home of the San Francisco Giants, becomes the first existing MLB ballpark to receive LEED Silver certification. Quite the accomplishment: it's harder for existing ballparks to receive accreditation, but the Giants were running the ballpark in an environmentally aware manner before there was talk of LEED certification for sports facilities.
