Bullfrogs put new-ballpark groundbreaking on hold

Groundbreaking on a new ballpark for the Green Bay Bullfrogs is on hold, but owner Jeff Royle says he still expects to play in a new facility next season.

Groundbreaking on a new ballpark for the Green Bay Bullfrogs (summer collegiate; Northwoods League) is on hold, but owner Jeff Royle says he still expects to play in a new facility next season.

Royle had hoped to break ground on a new ballpark this month. The working plans have it on the Fox River riverfront in downtown Green Bay, but reportedly other sites are under consideration as well. The game plan is still for a 2011 opening.
