The $3.5-million ballpark will be built on the campus of Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, located north of Milwaukee.
The Mequon City Council has approved a $3.5 million ballpark on the Concordia University Wisconsin campus for the college baseball team and a summer-collegiate Northwoods League team.
The university must still raise money for the project; however, the first million is in the bank thanks to a contribution from Kapco President Jim Kacmarcik. If fundraising goes well the ballpark could open next spring.
