All Pro Freight Stadium lands Great Lakes League All-Star Game

2012 All-Star GameNews about another summer-collegiate All-Star Game: All Pro Freight Stadium, home of the Lake Erie Crushers (summer collegiate; Frontier League), will host the 2012 Great Lakes League All-Star Game.

The Lake Erie Monarchs and Stark County Terriers are co-hosts of the July 11 event.

“We are very excited to hold our All Star event in Avon and appreciate the Lake Erie Crushers welcoming College Baseball fans from all over the United States to All Pro Freight Stadium.”  said Lake Erie Monarchs President Jim DeSana. “It is a fantastic stadium and centrally located for our fans in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky.”

The Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League is based in Columbus, Ohio and has 11 teams.  It began operation in 1987.
