Quad Cities River Bandits

Five years after buying the Quad Cities River Bandits (Low Class A; Midwest League), Dave Heller and Bob Herrfeldt are enthused about the market and possible ballpark upgrades.

Visiting Davenport annually always means one thing: viewing the latest in ballpark improvements at Modern Woodmen Park. In past years that's included new party spaces, a hot tub, a new outfield scoreboard and new concessions. What's new this year: Stefanie Brown replaced Kirk Goodman as River Bandits GM. (Goodman, by the way, landed on his feet as a member of the Houston Dynamo front office, one of the hottest teams in MLS on the business front.)

Steve Baterson has a nice look at what local fans can expect from the River Bandits ownership.
