Retro bullpen cart a hit in Sugar Land

Sugar Land Skeeters bullpen cart

It’s proven to be a scene-stealer: the retro bullpen cart employed by the Sugar Land Skeeters (independent; Atlantic League) has proven to be a big hit with fans.

All in all, Constellation Field has been a success this year, as Peter Kirk and crew have brought their fan-friendly operations to Texas. One big piece of that popularity: the retro bullpen cart used by the team. At one point every MLB team had a cap-topped ballpark cart, but over time they disappeared.

The Skeeters brought one back for this season, and it’s been a success: Besides serving as a sponsorship tool, the cart is displayed before the game so fans can take a picture of it. Every team should have one.
