The Lakewood BlueClaws (Low Class A; Sally League) are expecting to reach a major milestone tonight when the five-millionth fan in franchise history crosses the FirstEnegy Park turnstiles.
When it happens, the team will hold the record for reaching this milestone the quickest in South Atlantic League history as well as among New Jersey minor-league teams.
The BlueClaws are just 1,555 fans away from the target, so barring something unexpected, the record will fall tonight.
