Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks welcome three-millionth fan

Fargo-Moorhead RedHawksThe Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (independent; American Association) welcomed the three-millionth fan in team history to Newman Outdoor Field last night.

Nikki Rude, who says she typically attends around ten RedHawks games a season, was attending her first game of 2012 on Tuesday when she became the lucky fan. Rude won a RedHawks gift package that included a pair of 2013 season tickets, a custom jersey, gift certificates and other prizes.

“It is a testament to the baseball fans of the region that we’ve been able to reach three million fans,” said RedHawks President Bruce Thom. “We are very proud that we’ve become a part of the fabric of this community and region, and look forward to many more years of great baseball at Newman Outdoor Field.”

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks are in their 17th season of play.
