OK, this is a pretty good promotion designed to attract the bros: the Boston Red Sox are holding Dollar Beard Night, where anyone sporting a beard — real, painted or fake — will get into Fenway Park tomorrow for just a buck.
Apparently beards are the new mustaches when it comes to sports and the bros. The Red Sox certainly have embraced the whole beard thing: players engage in beard tugging after a big play, and there certainly is a lot of media attention toward the beard. Heck, the Red Sox even let you try on a virtual beard. The promo is just icing on the cake. Get beard, indeed.
