| To coincide with a move to Target Field in 2010, the Minnesota Twins are adopting new uniform designs and revised logos. Above is the most drastic change to the mix: a new road uniform that drops the pinstripes and MINNESOTA letter logo in favor of a a script. |
The Twins also unveiled new logos, using the Twins script first introduced in 1987 and tweaked for this season. This logo will be used on the slightly altered new home uniforms. |
The Twins also unveiled a new vintage alternative home uniform designed to closely mimic the uniforms used by the franchise's 1961 inaugural season in Minnesota. Not present: the wool from those original unis. "Twins fans have many exciting things to look forward to as we enter into a new era of outdoor baseball in Minnesota," said Twins President Dave St. Peter. "New uniforms and logos are just the beginning of all of the new and exciting things we have in store for 2010 as the Twins begin a new chapter in Minnesota baseball history and celebrate our 50th season."
